Overview

htmlbin is a free service that lets you paste HTML and get a shareable link. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use htmlbin.

What We Collect

Content You Submit

When you create a paste, the HTML you submit is stored in our database to generate a shareable link. This content is publicly accessible to anyone with the link. Our database is hosted on Turso in the AWS us-east-2 (US East, Ohio) region.

Server Logs

Our hosting provider, Vercel, may automatically collect server logs including your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit as part of standard hosting operations. We do not independently access or use this data beyond what Vercel provides.

What We Don't Collect

  • We do not require registration or accounts.
  • We do not collect or store personal information intentionally.
  • We do not use third-party analytics or tracking cookies. We do set a small number of first-party, functional cookies (e.g., htmlbin_created and htmlbin_admin) only to remember pastes you created and to support admin functionality.

Data Storage

Submitted HTML content is stored on Turso (libSQL) in the AWS us-east-2 region. By submitting content, you agree that it may be stored and made publicly accessible via a shareable link.

Content Removal

You may report harmful or inappropriate content using the report function on any paste page. We reserve the right to remove content that violates our Terms of Use.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page.
